Each dance has its own landing page that you can share on your school’s website, post on social media, or send via your school’s preferred communication method with parents and students. If desired, we are also happy to create a custom landing page for your school’s website.

You dnot need to sell tickets through the app to use it. As mentioned before, we give you the ability to enter cash/check or complimentary tickets through the app.

Because we know that sometimes not all students are eligible to attend the dance, we give you the tools to prevent those students from purchasing tickets or having tickets purchased for them. We do whatever we can to make sure that your students are not falsifying information. When your students enter any parent or admin information, they check off that they are held liable if it is discovered that the information is false. This is definitely more secure than a paper form, as you have access to the Parent/Admin Names and Emails in your reporting to confirm.

My School Dance allows you to build multiple ticket types that can vary based on grade, number of tickets, date, and create discount codes tied to specific students.

My School Dance understands that you might still want to sell some tickets in cash/check or offer complimentary tickets to some students. We give you the capability to add these students into the system for them to follow the same process and receive their digital ticket. More information is available on the walkthrough or when you create your account on the ‘Resources’ tab.

Currently, the ability to edit school information such as creating an email domain lock, requiring student ID, or changing the address is limited to those with the ‘Principal’ role. If your Principal does not have a My School Dance account, you can contact support@myschooldance.com and we can edit your school information for you.

To set up accounts for other individuals who will be helping you check in, send the name/emails to your designated Dance Partner and we will create the accounts for you. To set the accounts up yourself, on your ‘Users’ tab select “New User”, add a Faculty -> Dance Admin -> Active Account, or the Dance Admin can request their own account on the create account page.

To change the name/email on a ticket, go to your ‘Manage Purchased Tickets’ dashboard, click on the ticket you would like to update, and select “Reassign”. Enter the correct or new email of the attendee. The email will pull in the name for the ticket if an account is created, if no account is created the name will appear blank until an account is created with that email.

My School Dance provides tons of reporting to you at no additional cost. At any given moment you will know who purchased tickets, who they purchased tickets for, who has signed off on the agreements, when the agreements were signed, and all information about your dance revenues. We can show you all reporting available during our walkthrough.

My School Dance takes data privacy very seriously. We do not sell or distribute any data we collect from students, parents, or schools. To show our commitment to this, we submit to voluntary COPPA compliace verification through PRIVO, a Third-Party compliance specialist (more information available on our Privacy Policy).

There are two ways to get paid for your ticket sales. You can have your funds instantly deposited into your bank account of choice through our PCI Level 1 compliant payment processor, Stripe. If this does not work for your school, we can send you a check for your ticket sales every other week, every month, and/or after your ticket sales close date.

My School Dance does not require your school to sign any contracts. If needed, we are happy to fill out any forms your district requires for new vendors.

There is a small processing fee on the ticket that can be absorbed if desired. The processing fee is to utilize all the features of My School Dance in addition to a 2.9% + $.30 credit card processing fee. To get exact fees, please email support@myschooldance.com.
